From action on the sports fields to the thousand-yard stare of an orangutan, Port Townsend photographer Steve Mullensky captures the essence of his varied subjects from around the world.During his 40 years as a news and sports photographer, Steve developed a keen eye for graphic and abstract images and the magical quality that light plays on his subjects.

Steve uses his talents as a Fine Art photographer to produce museum-quality prints of some of his favorite images. During his travels, Steve is inspired by Nature\’s enduring beauty and he captures that beauty in his professional and personal work.

Photographers paint their images with light and the luminous quality of that light is crucial to set the mood the artist wants to convey. With a camera always within reach, Steve is ready to capture images for you to enjoy.
